For
some reason, and I don’t know why, the description on the MaryJaneFarm Fair
site of what Mommy and I sell reads that we are Chabby Chic/ Antiques. First, I’ve never seen shabby written as
chabby and I would definitely classify us as more handmade (since as you al
know that what we’ve been doing… making things by hand) so I’m not sure why antiques
are listed. Whatever, we will have what
ever we have.
I
do know that we plan on having some vintage items but not really things that could
be classified as antique.
Either
way I decided to share a mishmash of what may make it into the van.
We
are still creating and finishing up some things and who knows what wild hair
either of us may get… but that’s how some of our best ideas come about.
Mommy
and I plan to have this show be as low stress as possible. We also hope to be dressed the part, at least
some what but that is still on the back burner.
For those that don’t know, this year’s theme for the MaryJaneFarm Fair
is “Buggy, Barter and Boogie” which translates into a 1920s premise. Of course I have a bazillion ideas but
executing them is another thing. I
really have to think about what I can wear that I can be in all day (the show
is from 10 am to 7 pm) but I also have to take into account setting up and
tearing down and seeing if it’s something I can wear during that time (about 7
am to 8 or 9 pm) or if I can easily change.
So many decisions to make….
I’m
off to finish and few more projects and try to get a little shut eye before a
busy day later today.
Happy
Monday!!!
