I love the lightness of snowfall, the tickliness of it. That’s the word I use to describe what it feels like when it snows… tickly. There’s a quietness, a softness, something magical about falling snow. It’s beautiful.
So, it did in fact snow today. I woke up several times this morning to see if it was snowing, or had snowed, and each time nothing. Then as I was getting ready for work I looked out and saw that the trees and roof tops were covered in a light dusting of snow and when I looked close enough I saw minuscule flakes still falling. By the time I was ready to leave there was approximately an inch of build up on my car.
Chewie was so excited. He LOVES snow so I took him outside so he could run and play to his little heart’s content; he also takes pleasure in eating it as well. I made a miniature snowball for him and he ran inside to enjoy his treasure.
The highway was a mess, but once I got into town things were better. It continued to snow throughout the day but the temperature in town was a bit warmer so the snow wasn’t sticking to the ground, then by the afternoon it was a light drizzle. My drive home was easy enough but then about a mile from my house the rain turned to snow once again and all the way in it continued to snow.
