Today's Show and Tell Sunday is being hosted by Analise over at Sugar*Sugar, go check it out and "support" the other show and tellers.
If you don't already know about it, Show and Tell Sunday is usually hosted by Analise or Cerri most Sundays. Each Sunday is themed and other bloggers sign up and post about that theme. They've had themes of vintage hankies, bling, and favorite places to shop and now this weeks theme celebrating mother's and motherhood.
When I taught high school I participated in all of the spirit week activities. I thought it was only appropriate for hero day to dress as a mom because they are everyday heroes and usually don't get the day to day accolades they deserve.
So here's to you mom, an extra special Mother's Day present, where I won't be posting any of the millions of funny pictures I have of you that would only lead to embarrassment (those can be posted later) and I'll only post pictures that you'd really enjoy.
That's Mommy with all three of us...
Here's Mommy and Daddy at Mommy's ten year high school reunion (she already had all three of us at by this time)
and at Daddy's twenty year reunion
and Mommy's twenty
And here's she participating in her favorite activity...softball. (Hey Mommy, I told you, just like that lady at WalMart yesterday.)
and after her second favorite activity tennis (a few years later).
Of course for Mommy no pictorial would be complete without her favorite picture. Now she can look at it whenever she wants...
Older brother was in high school when this photo was taken. He didn't like that she looked like this, however his friends did. She would pick him up from school and everyone wanted to know who his older girlfriend was...his college age girl. He hated it, she loved it, and so it goes. By the way, that's my skirt she took out of my closet (got to love the acid wash of the 80's) and she still loves it.
I'm sure she thinks that this is the best present ever, just ask her.
Happy Mother's Day one and all!
